Where: Trail near Winter Park
Time: Meet at the public parking lot at
the southeast side of I-70 and Morrison Road at 7:00 am
(trying to avoid skier traffic).
Cost: FREE Guidance
from your Boot Camp Instructors, you will have to rent unless
you have your own gear – $12.00
for snowshoe rentals, Plus LUNCH MONEY.
Difficulty: Beginner (mostly flat with
some moderate uphill areas).
What to wear: Refer to Gear
Guide on www.milehighbootcamp.com
for clothing requirements. Good pair of hiking boots that
are or have had waterproofing applied to the outside.
Bring: Backpack with extra socks, water
bottles (Camelback preferred). Healthy snacks, sunscreen,
sunglasses.
Details: Snowshoes are already on reserve
at Sports Rent. We will pick them up on Friday evening to
make sure they are sized for you.
Friends are welcome.
We will snowshoe for a couple of hours and then enjoy a
warm lunch in downtown Winter Park. Return to Denver around
4:00 pm.
